It's great when positions demonstrate an inclusive team culture in the way the image at the top right of your graphic suggests. (Specificity would be a great antidote again.) Independent self- starter, able to collaborate with diverse team. (Also more helpfully interpreted linked to a specific task/responsibility, or phrased in a way that better demonstrates that an applicant will have an inclusive experience in their new team.) Phrases commonly linked to ableist expectations for behaviors like eye contact: (What tasks or responsibilities are central to the role that haven't already been described - could you just say what needs organizing? And how 'impeccable' is measured if you can't just delete the word?) Lists of arbitrary traits without context or measure: ![]() ![]() Really helpful suggestions! So many ads are exclusionary with phrasing that can stop an applicant in their tracks □□.
